W. 32nd Avenue & E. 33rd Avenue Upgrades

Construction of the W. 30th Avenue / North Star Street Phase 1 improvements will resume this spring, starting mid-May. Phase 1 (see map below) began in 2021 with utility relocation and tree clearing in preparation for the remaining improvements. Summer 2022 construction will include: a new storm drain; subgrade improvements; construction of the new pathway, curb, gutter, and sidewalk; installation of new lighting/signage; and replacement of the Anchorage Water and Wastewater sewer main on W. 30th Avenue and North Star Street. Please be aware of workers and use caution when navigating the area. If you have any questions during this phase of improvements, please contact one of the construction personnel listed on the Contact Us page.
