Pre-Final Design (W. 30th Avenue & North Star Street Upgrades)

The pre-final (95% Complete) design plans and specifications for improvements to W. 30th Avenue and North Star Street between Spenard Road and Arctic Boulevard can be found at the links below. Please note that the project also includes interim bike lane signing and striping on W. 32nd Avenue between Arctic Boulevard and C Street. This is Phase 1 of the W. 32nd Avenue and E. 33rd Avenue Upgrades project (Project No. 16-29) and has been assigned a unique project number (Project No 20-24).

Preliminary Design

The W. 32nd Avenue & E. 33rd Avenue Upgrades project has been split into multiple phases with the first phase anticipated to include W. 30th Avenue and North Star Street between Spenard Road and Arctic Boulevard. The Preliminary Plans and Specifications for this first phase are provided below under the title “W. 30th Avenue & North Star Street Upgrades”. Preliminary plans and specifications for the remainder of the project (Arctic Boulevard to Old Seward Highway) are provided below under the title “W. 32nd Avenue & E. 33rd Avenue Upgrades”. It is anticipated that the W. 32nd Avenue & E. 33rd Avenue Upgrades will be split up into multiple for final design and construction.
